Fabrication refers to the engineering and installation of temporary or permanent structures, usually inside intermodal marine containers, which are customized as per the specific requirements of the cargo. These structures distribute the cargo load evenly across the entire container without altering container integrity. Apart from ensuring cargo safety and container integrity, the containerized fabrication should prove more economical than the traditional method. Garment on Hanger(GOH) containers or “Hangtainers” are such an example wherein standard intermodal containers are outfitted to safely and conveniently carry garments on hangers, similar to displays in showrooms.
